UAV operators of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation disrupted the transfer of reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye region

During the "night hunt", operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Vostok group of forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation disrupted the transfer of reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Zaporizhia region. This was announced on February 27 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

According to the agency, during the operation, UAV operators of the unmanned systems Forces (UAVs) detected the thermal signatures of Ukrainian infantrymen who were trying to gain a foothold in the forest belt. The enemy wanted to make up for the losses unnoticeably and disperse on the ground for the subsequent withdrawal to combat positions.

The coordinates of the enemy formations were sent in real time to the calculations of the attack drones of the BPS troops, after which a series of precise strikes were inflicted on the enemy infantry.

The Ministry of Defense reported that the equipment of drones with modern thermal imaging cameras makes it possible to identify Ukrainian militants at night. The ministry stressed that the units of the Vostok group of forces continue their successful offensive deep into the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and stop all attempts to transfer enemy reserves to the front lines in the Zaporizhia region.

On February 25, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that artillery crews of Hyacinth-B howitzers of the 120th Guards Marine Division, as part of the Center group of forces, inflicted fire damage on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, disrupting the rotation of enemy formations in the Dobropolsky area of the special military operation. In the process of performing an aerial reconnaissance mission, the UAV operator identified the enemy's camouflaged positions.
