Lieutenant Gorynin suppressed the enemy's mortar crew with accurate fire

During offensive operations in one of the tactical directions, Lieutenant Yevgeny Gorynin suppressed a mortar crew of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with accurate fire. This was announced on February 27 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

According to the ministry, a unit under Gorynin's command was leading an offensive when the assault groups came under mortar fire from the enemy. Despite the drone strikes, the officer personally brought the combat vehicle to the firing line and delivered an accurate blow to the enemy's calculation. After changing his position, he continued to fire at the Ukrainian Armed Forces stronghold. As a result, the assault units were able to continue advancing and complete the task.

The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the brave and decisive actions of the deputy platoon commander, Senior Sergeant Alexander Lapshin.

During the assault on the enemy's fortified positions, his group came under intense fire and could not advance further. Lapshin decided to outflank the enemy. Having stealthily approached the defensive position, he suddenly attacked and destroyed several Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters, which allowed the group to develop an offensive and occupy fortified lines.

The new complexes are guaranteed to destroy firing points during attacks on enemy fortified areas.

On February 26, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Sergeant Dmitry Saprykin was one of the first to enter an enemy stronghold and destroy a grenade launcher crew and three Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters. The ministry also noted the decisive actions of junior Sergeant Esbol Bayinkenov, whose unit performed the tasks of defending positions.
