Belgorod and the Belgorod region were subjected to a massive missile attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on February 27 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

"The city of Belgorod and the Belgorod district were subjected to massive rocket fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

The governor added that, according to preliminary information, no one was injured as a result of the incident.
