Rabies quarantine introduced in Bogotola in the Krasnoyarsk Territory
An animal rabies quarantine has been declared in the city of Bogotol in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. This is reported by KrasnoyarskMedia news agency with reference to the relevant resolution signed by the governor.
The site on Lesnaya Street, in the area of building No. 114, has been declared unsafe. Quarantine has been introduced within a radius of 3 km.
Restrictive measures will last until April 13 inclusive, unless a new case of rabies is detected in the territory. Until then, it is prohibited to import and export animals, capture them for the zoo, hold fairs and other events involving the movement or accumulation of susceptible animals.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that in the Tyumen region, the number of localities quarantined for rabies increased to 43. The foci came close to the borders of the region.
