The Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC, Parliament) has decided to dismiss Liu Shaoyun, chairman of the Military court of the People's Liberation Army of China (PLA). This was reported by China Central Television (CCTV).

"The meeting participants voted to remove Liu Shaoyun from the post of chairman of the PLA military court," TASS quoted the text of the message.

It is noted that the decision was made during the 21st session of the National People's Congress of the 14th convocation, held on February 25-26.

In January of this year, investigations were initiated against the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of China, Wang Xiangxi, on suspicion of corruption. The minister is suspected of "serious violations of discipline and the law."
