Siluanov commented on Sber's reporting for 2025

Sber makes a significant contribution to the formation of the revenue side of the federal budget, said Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, commenting on the publication of the bank's financial statements for 2025. His words are quoted by the press service of Sberbank.

"In 2025, the bank paid a record-breaking 786.9 billion rubles in dividends in its history. Half of this amount has been allocated to the state treasury, which has created a significant resource for financing priority government programs. Such financial returns are an important factor in strengthening fiscal sustainability and developing the economy as a whole," the Finance Minister stressed.

He called the financial results of Sberbank strong and noted that they reflect a "balanced management strategy and a well-thought-out business model."

According to the bank's IFRS statements, in 2025, net profit amounted to 1.7 trillion rubles, an increase of 7.9% year-on-year. The return on equity reached 22.7%. The active customer base grew to 110.7 million in retail and 3.5 million in the corporate segment.
