Russia handed over 1,000 bodies of Ukrainian militants to Ukraine

The Russian side handed over to Ukraine 1,000 bodies of militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on January 29 by Vladimir Medinsky, Assistant to the President of Russia.

"The bodies of 1,000 dead Ukrainian soldiers have been transferred to Ukraine," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Medinsky added that as part of the agreements, in return, Russia received the bodies of 35 dead servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
