The domestic analogue of the da Vinci surgical robot is registered in Russia. This was announced on February 26 by the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko.

"A new domestic—made robotic surgery unit has been registered in the Russian Federation," he said in an interview with TASS.

The head of the Ministry of Health clarified that the new robotic installation is already ready for delivery to federal and regional medical institutions, opening up new opportunities for surgery. According to him, first of all, the equipment will be sent to clinics where the development of high-tech care is required.

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 25 that Russian scientists are already moving towards creating separate artificial human organs. He also noted that bioeconomics has gone beyond scientific knowledge and has become actively applied in practice. According to him, scientists and engineers in Russia are shaping a new reality and industrial structure with their bold ideas.
