Calculations of the troops of unmanned systems destroyed the UAV of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the Starlink system

Calculations of units of the unmanned systems forces (UAVs) as part of the Center group destroyed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with the Starlink system in the Red Army area of the special military operation (SVO). This was announced on February 26 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

During the performance of tasks to monitor airspace in the "free hunting" mode, operators of unmanned systems detected Ukrainian aircraft-type attack drones, as well as heavy enemy multicopters equipped with ammunition and mining systems.

To effectively destroy the identified targets, military personnel use domestic software systems, specialized military communications equipment, as well as high-speed data transmission systems for monitoring airspace and video transmission of combat operations.

"Since the very beginning of my combat work in unmanned aircraft, we have been using the domestic Internet. Our command provides us with high-resolution fiber-optic communications. This speed is more than enough for combat work. Transmits a high-quality video card, transmits a high-quality image and signal. Voice communication works without delay. I believe that we are connected. During combat work, we use special programs provided by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for interaction like Telegram, and it is the programs for combat work where radars, counteraction calculations, and command for coordination and targeting are already working. Messengers of domestic production, good and high—quality, have now appeared to communicate with relatives," said Senior Sergeant Alexander Galkin, head of the UAV counteraction unit.

Objective monitoring data indicates that Russian telecommunications technologies and command and control systems are superior to their Western counterparts both on the ground and in the air. Units of the Center group of forces successfully hit the enemy's armored vehicles, fortifications, and manpower on a daily basis, as well as disrupt its logistics (rotation and supply of ammunition) all along the front line, using advanced Russian high-speed data transmission systems.

It was clarified that the enemy object was identified during reconnaissance by calculations of troops of unmanned systems.
