Russians were told the average pension size of civil servants in the country

The average pension amount of federal government civil servants in Russia as of January 1, 2026 exceeds 39 thousand rubles. This follows from the data of the Social Fund of Russia, which was reviewed by RIA Novosti on February 26.

It is specified that the average payout for this category is 39,268 rubles per month. The number of pension recipients among federal civil servants reaches 97.3 thousand people. At the same time, pensioners who continue to work receive an average of 40,341 rubles, while those who do not work receive 39,167 rubles. The main part of the recipients — about 89 thousand people — are not in an employment relationship.
