Air defense forces destroyed 60 Ukrainian UAVs over Russian territory in three hours

The Air Defense Forces destroyed 60 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the territory of Russia in three hours. This was announced on February 25 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"In the period from 20:00 to 23:00 Moscow time, 60 Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the ministry said in a statement.

It is specified that 27 drones were destroyed over the territory of the Republic of Crimea, 17 over the Belgorod region, nine in the sky over the Black Sea, as well as four drones over the Kursk region and three over the Bryansk region.

Mobile firing groups of commandant's offices will protect military and civilian objects in the near rear from drones.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the air defense forces had destroyed 13 drones over the regions of Russia. The largest number of drones was intercepted over the Black Sea — five units.
