Warehouses with supplies in case of war began to be created in the Warsaw metro. This was announced on February 25 by the mayor of the city Rafal Trzaskowski.

"There are three associations with the Warsaw metro: firstly, it is an excellent means of transport, secondly, it is a great place to read books, and thirdly, it is an underground shield or our common security," he said in a video message posted on Facebook (owned by Meta, recognized as extremist and banned in Russia).
