MAX users can now create a digital ID in a few steps.
Users of the national messenger MAX will be able to create a Digital ID in the application in a few simple steps. This was announced on February 25 in a press release from the VKontakte social network.
A digital ID is a QR code in a user's profile that can be used to confirm various statuses, such as age of majority and student status.
Adult citizens of Russia can create a Digital ID. To do this, go to the "Digital ID" profile section, click "Add documents", provide consent to "Public Services" and confirm the action.
The developers have paid special attention to security. The QR code is updated every 30 seconds, protected from screenshots, and access to the service is provided only through the biometrics of the phone owner. In addition, the Digital ID is valid exclusively on the device where it was created.
It is specified that the technology of age verification via Digital ID has already been implemented on the Ozon marketplace, as well as in more than 70 thousand stores.
On February 12, the Russian Ministry of Health reported that in a MONTH, the attending physician can close sick leave for citizens after an illness. It was noted that if the sick leave is extended or the patient's condition needs to be clarified to determine his ability to work, the doctor will decide to conduct an in-person examination.
On January 28, Sergey Kiriyenko, First Deputy head of the Presidential Administration of Russia, said that MAX entered the top five fastest-growing services in the world. According to him, at the moment the messenger has an audience of 89 million users, of which about 60 million use the service daily.
