The Island of Dreams cultural and entertainment cluster will conclude the celebration of the Chinese New Year with a bright final program, which will take place on February 28 in the space of the city promenade. Admission to all events will be free. This program will be the culmination of a thematic festival that combines shows, performances, interactive formats and traditional Chinese culture. Its opening, which took place on February 21, was attended by more than 15,000 guests.

On February 28, guests will be greeted throughout the day by the grand Oriental carnival: from 12:00 to 18:00, photo shoots and interactive performances with tall heroes in themed costumes, as well as parades of artists in national costumes (at 13:30 and 16:30) will take place on the site.

The central spectacle of the closing ceremony will be the "Giant Dragon Show" — one of the most recognizable and symbolic traditions of Chinese culture, embodying luck, strength and well-being. The spectacular appearance of the dragon will be continued by his ceremonial walks along the city boardwalk, during which you can not only take vivid photos for memory, but also become part of the colorful action.

The program will be complemented by an interactive drumming show of dragon warriors. The artists will perform dynamic compositions on traditional Chinese drums, and after the performance, the audience will be able to try themselves as participants in the performance and feel the rhythm of the oriental holiday. Thematic workshops will be held throughout the day (13:00-18:00). Guests will be able to create a talisman bracelet from a red thread - a symbol of protection and good luck, adding decorative elements to it and making a wish for the year, as well as making their own paper dragon.

"The end of the Chinese New Year in the Island of Dreams will be a beautiful final point of a great cultural journey that we have lived together with our guests. Throughout the festival, we saw a sincere interest in the traditions of China — its music, symbols, culture, and festive rituals. It was important for us not only to create a spectacular program, but also to convey the special atmosphere that underlies this holiday. I am sure that such projects will further expand the boundaries of dialogue between countries and open up new world cultural traditions to our guests," said Ekaterina Loshkareva, Deputy General Director for Marketing Communications at Islands of Dreams.

The festive atmosphere will be supported by the large-scale design of the city's boardwalk with traditional Chinese decorative elements and photo zones, where every visitor will be able to immerse themselves in the aesthetics of the East.

An international exhibition project presented at the Moscow Square will be a separate part of the cultural program. From February 19 to March 3, there is a photo exhibition "Hello, Beijing!" and an exhibition of poster art dedicated to the interpretation of the symbols of the traditional Chinese calendar by modern designers and artists.
