Comprehensive support for health workers is one of the key areas of the United Russia people's program and an important condition for high-quality medical care in the Moscow region. This was announced on February 25 by the deputy of the Moscow State Duma, a member of the party's faction Vladislav Mirzonov.

"One of the directions of the national program is comprehensive support for employees of medical institutions in our country. Staffing the healthcare system is our absolute priority and one of the main conditions for providing high—quality and affordable medical care to residents of the Moscow region," Mirzonov said.

Since 2021, thanks to preferential programs, more than 57 thousand specialists have been employed in the region. One of the key measures is compensation for rental housing: up to 30,000 rubles for a single doctor and up to 45,000 rubles for a married couple, depending on the municipality.

It is noted that the Social Mortgage program provides for compensation by the state of 50% of the cost of housing as a down payment and repayment of the principal debt within 10 years. In 2025, more than 160 doctors became participants in the program, and over two thousand over the entire time.

Under the Zemsky Doktor program, specialists who settle in small towns receive up to 1.5 million rubles (doctors) and up to 750 thousand (average medical staff). Almost 2.8 thousand doctors found jobs in the Moscow region, and almost 240 people in 2025.

Another effective measure was the provision of land plots for health workers. Irina Afonina, an obstetrician-gynecologist at Zaraisk Hospital, who is raising her daughter, who also wants to become a doctor, said that the program helps her fulfill her long-held dream.

"I've been dreaming about my own house for many years <...> And now, thanks to the Earth to Doctors program, it's not just a picture in my head, but a real plan of action. State support has helped to significantly save the family budget. <...> Now the funds that I saved will be used for construction, and my long-held dream of owning my own house is finally becoming a reality," she shared.

The popular program of United Russia, with which the party won the elections in 2021, includes almost 400 provisions. In five years, more than 96% of voters' health orders have been fulfilled in the Moscow region — there were over a thousand of them in total. About 60 healthcare facilities have been built, and dozens have been renovated.

They are fighting about salaries: 76% of companies plan to index salaries in 2026.

In early December last year, it became known that in 2025, 57 new specialists arrived at medical institutions in the Khabarovsk Territory under the Zemsky Doctor/Zemsky Paramedic program. About 88 million rubles were allocated from the federal and regional budgets for payments for them. Doctors are working under a program initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin in 13 municipal districts. The regional government emphasizes that the project has become a solution to the shortage of medical specialists. This is one of the main objectives of the national project "Long and active life".
