Anastasia Povtoreyko, the former chief physician of the Pskov Regional Infectious Diseases Clinical Hospital, was arrested on charges of abuse of authority. This was reported on February 25 by RIA Novosti with reference to law enforcement agencies.

It was established that in 2022-2024, the woman received illegal income in the amount of more than 700 thousand rubles from foreign pharmaceutical companies.

"Repeatco received payments from private companies, including foreign ones, such as Boehringer Ingelheim, AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals, Lancet, and BIOCAD in 2022-2024," the report says.
