Skier Krupitskaya won the race with a split start at the Russian Championships

On February 25, Russian skier Evgenia Krupitskaya won the 10 km classical style split start race at the Russian Ski Racing Championships, which takes place in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.

The athlete covered the distance in 28 minutes and 17.1 seconds. Alisa Zhambalova won the silver medal, losing 3.1 seconds to the winner. The bronze medal went to Alina Pekletsova, who was 5.8 seconds behind.

The Russian Championship runs from February 25 to March 8.

Russian skier Daria Nepryaeva took part in the 10 km freestyle race on February 12, where she showed a time of 24 minutes 45 seconds and took 21st place. Sweden's Frida Carlsson won, silver was won by Ebba Andersson, and bronze went to American Jessica Diggins.
