Student exchanges between educational institutions are actively taking place between the Republic of Korea and Russia. This was reported to Izvestia on February 24 at the Cultural Center of the Embassy of South Korea.

"Recently, a small group of Korean students from the National University of Gyeongpook flew to Moscow to participate in a short-term educational program to study the Russian language. The program of invitations to Korea for Korean language teachers from different countries, including Russia, to improve their skills is also continuing as usual," they said.

It is also known that Korean is increasingly being taught in Russia. There is a growing demand for tutors and language courses. At the same time, the tourist flow from Russia to South Korea is also increasing. In 2025, it has grown by 30%, despite the absence of direct flights.

South Korean President Lee Jae-myung said on December 3 last year that Seoul considers relations with Moscow important and will continue to communicate with it, despite the difficult situation in bilateral relations. In addition, the South Korean leader expressed hope for an early settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
