LG, which left Russia, has registered a cosmetics brand with Rospatent

On February 24, the South Korean company LG H&H Co., Ltd. (part of the LG Group) registered the CNP Laboratory brand with Rospatent, including the Cyrillic version. This is evidenced by the data from the Rusprofile counterparty verification service.

The exclusive right to the trademark will be valid until May 2034.

The trademark is intended for the production and sale of perfumes, lotions, creams, face masks, blush, lipstick, toothpaste, washing powders, detergents and other goods. On the official website of LG H&H Co., Ltd. It is noted that CNP Laboratory cosmetics have been manufactured since 2000.

LG Group announced the suspension of all shipments to Russia in March 2022. The Russian legal entity LG Electronics Rus LLC continues to operate. By the end of 2024, the organization's revenue amounted to 41 billion rubles (+13% by 2023), net profit — 2.6 billion rubles (-22% by 2023).

On January 20, LG registered a trademark related to televisions in Russia. Later, on January 26, LG Electronics applied to Rospatent for registration of the new Express Fill brand. It was indicated that LG wants to sell household appliances, industrial production devices, kitchen appliances, and so on under the appropriate brand in Russia. In addition, LG has also applied for the registration of the ThinQ Food brand in the same product category.
