He graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the Moscow Mining Institute, after which he worked for five years as a miner at the mine. Antonov was the head of the humorous program "O.S.P. Studio". In 1998, together with his colleague Vladimir Tolokonnikov, he created the ENCORE program on TV-6. He also wrote the lyrics for the movie "It's Not Serious."
