Vasily Antonov was born in Vorkuta on September 22, 1963. He graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the Moscow Mining Institute, after which he worked for five years as a miner at the mine. Antonov was the head of the humorous program "O.S.P. Studio". In 1998, together with his colleague Vladimir Tolokonnikov, he created the ENCORE program on TV-6. He also wrote the lyrics for the movie "It's Not Serious."
