The most popular cities of the Russian Federation for short trips are named
Domclick analysts named the most popular destinations that tourists choose for 2-3 days in February and March. The top three are Moscow (7.4%), St. Petersburg (7.1%) and Ufa (4.8%).
Moscow has become the most sought-after city for those wishing to travel for the holiday weekend. It accounted for 7.4% of all bookings for February and March. St. Petersburg is slightly behind Moscow (7.1% of the total number of bookings). Ufa is in third place (4.8%), this year it has overtaken Kazan (4.4%), which had been consistently in the top three before, analysts noted.
The rating also includes other cities with millions - Yekaterinburg (4.3%), Krasnodar (3.9%), Novosibirsk (3.1%) and Nizhny Novgorod (2.5%). Tyumen was also included in Domclick (2.2% of the total number of booked trips). Resort cities are also in high demand: Sochi (4.2%), Kislovodsk (3.9%) and Pyatigorsk (2.4%).
Moscow remains the most expensive destination (4,9 thousand rubles per night). At the same time, the cost of living in the capital decreased by 4.9% compared to the previous off-season. According to analysts, prices are affected by the growing competition in the short-term rental segment.
Cities with a high rate of rent per night also include St. Petersburg (4.6 thousand rubles), Sochi (4.2 thousand rubles) and Kazan (4.1 thousand rubles). The cost of living in St. Petersburg has increased significantly (by 17.5%). The dynamics is higher only in Nizhny Novgorod, where the year-on-year price growth was 19%. A significant increase in the price of daily rental rates was also recorded in Kazan (plus 16.3%). The highest price reduction was noted in Yekaterinburg (minus 10.5% year-on-year), the rental rate there is now 3.6 thousand rubles.
