On February 24, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky showed for the first time his bunker, where not only he, but also representatives of the Verkhovna Rada, as well as other authorities, lived at the very beginning of the special military operation. The relevant footage was published by his press service on the Telegram channel.

"There were hundreds of people here. <...> Our team, the government, <...>, the military, and telephone conversations were here," he described during a guided tour of the facility.

Walking through the long corridors of the bunker, the Ukrainian leader points to the walls, where you can see inscriptions in the Ukrainian language. The signs "Office of the President of Ukraine" and "Leadership of the Cabinet of Ministers" are also visible inside the bunker. The national flags of Ukraine hang in the demonstrated cabinets.

Zelensky said on February 4 that he hoped to achieve a settlement of the conflict in the country in less than a year. Later, on February 20, the Politico newspaper, citing a source, reported that the Ukrainian president would rather sacrifice his state than lose power.

On February 18, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stressed that Zelensky's actions do not need comments, they show his unwillingness to peace. He made the corresponding statement, commenting on the speech of the head of the Kiev regime at the Munich security conference.
