A soldier of his own army amputated his leg in a trench after being seriously wounded

Russian serviceman Alexander Fedorov from Yakutia amputated his leg in a trench on his own after being severely wounded in a special military operation (SVO) area. He told the Ruptly video agency about this on February 23.

According to the fighter, his leg was torn in two places during the battles for New York in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). However, evacuation proved impossible due to the ongoing fighting.
