In January, the lowest price for potatoes among the Russian regions was in Mordovia — an average of 32 rubles per 1 kg. This is evidenced on February 24 by an analysis of statistical data conducted by RIA Novosti.
The Bryansk Region and Bashkiria were also among the subjects with the lowest cost, where 1 kg was sold for an average of 33 and 35 rubles, respectively. In the Penza region, the price was 35.3 rubles, in the Smolensk region — 35.4 rubles.
In the Nizhny Novgorod region, the average reached 36.3 rubles per 1 kg. In Chuvashia and the Kursk region, the cost was 36.4 rubles. In the Omsk region, potatoes cost customers 36.8 rubles, in Mari El — 37.2 rubles. The Kostroma region closes the top ten regions with the lowest price, where 1 kg cost 37.4 rubles.
In Moscow, the average price was 54.6 rubles per 1 kg, in St. Petersburg - 50.5 rubles.
