Russians were told about the long weekend in March

Russians expect a long weekend from March 7-9 inclusive. This was announced on February 24 by Alexander Yuzhalin, head of the SuperJob legal practice.

"The day off is postponed from Sunday, March 8, to the next working day — Monday, March 9. Thanks to this, employees with a five-day working week will have the opportunity to rest for three days in a row.: from Saturday, March 7, to Monday, March 9, inclusive," he explained in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Yuzhalin added that hiring on a public holiday is subject to increased pay. According to him, work on such dates should be compensated in double the amount or, at the employee's choice, by providing an additional day of rest.
