Trump announced a tough policy through licenses and duties

On February 23, US President Donald Trump spoke about the possibility of doing "terrible things" with other countries through trade licenses.

"First of all, I can use [trade] licenses to do absolutely "terrible" things with foreign countries, especially with those countries that have been stealing from us for many decades," he wrote on his Truth Social network.
