Zelensky questioned Trump's reliability
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has questioned the reliability of American leader Donald Trump. This was reported by the BBC newspaper on February 23.
In an interview with the publication, Zelensky, answering a question about confidence in the head of the White House and possible security guarantees, said that Kiev needs the support of not only the current US president, but also Congress. According to him, we are talking about guarantees for up to 30 years, during which the leadership of the United States may change.
The BBC notes that in this way the Ukrainian leader actually expressed doubts about his trust in his American counterpart.
"In other words, Donald Trump may be an unreliable partner, but he will not remain president forever," the publication says.
