Residents of Russia have the opportunity to withdraw the remaining funds of the maternity capital, if its amount does not exceed 10 thousand rubles. This follows from the data published on February 23 by the Social Fund of the Russian Federation.
As RIA Novosti found out, after analyzing the department's data, this money is paid in a lump sum, and it can be spent on any needs.
To receive payment to the certificate holder, it is enough to submit an application through the Gosuslugi portal. After approval, the Social Fund will transfer the remaining amount to the applicant's bank account.
If the amount of the remaining maternity capital exceeds 10 thousand rubles, this innovation does not work.
On February 3, Igor Balynin, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of Public Finance at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, informed that families with a child under three years old and an income below twice the subsistence level established in the region have the right to receive monthly payments from the maternity capital.
