Forecasters predicted warming to 0 degrees in Moscow on February 23

The air temperature in Moscow will range from 0 to -2 degrees during the day. At night, the thermometer will drop to -5.

In the Moscow region, it will be from +1 to -4 degrees during the day, and at night the temperature may drop to -8.

A southerly wind with a speed of 4-9 m/s is expected.

Atmospheric pressure will be 740-745 mmHg.

Polar disorder: The frosts will be replaced by a thaw in the capital region.

In Central Russia it will warm up to +3, and in Siberia the temperature will drop to -23 degrees

Nikolay Tereshonok, head of the Meteorology and Climate Department of the Central Directorate for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, said on February 22 that the winter of 2026, which broke records in terms of snow levels, could be a consequence of global warming.
