Dmitriev noted the upcoming problems between the UK and the EU due to US duties

The United Kingdom and the European Union (EU) countries will be most affected by the US duties. This opinion was expressed on February 22 by Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).

"The already weak UK and the EU will suffer the greatest blow from the new global tariffs in the United States by 15%," Dmitriev wrote on the social network X.

Dmitriev commented on the publication of the Financial Times newspaper, according to which the duties imposed by American President Donald Trump can bring the greatest benefit to the countries that he most often criticizes, including China and Brazil.
