The Ministry of Defense of Mexico told the details of the operation to eliminate "El Mencho"

The operation to eliminate the leader of Mexico's largest drug cartel, El Mencho, involved aircraft of the Air Force and special forces of the immediate reaction of the National Guard of the country. The local Ministry of Defense informed about this on February 22.

"During this operation, the soldiers were attacked. <...> As a result, four members of the criminal group died on the spot and three were seriously injured," the report said.
