Mexico is experiencing massive unrest. There is a dangerous situation in the country. An eyewitness told Izvestia about this on February 22.

"The situation is scary and critical," one witness said.

According to him, local residents were advised to stay in safe zones, refrain from going out on the streets, not to use taxis and not to go to the airport. The beaches are closed, and people tend to get inside faster.

It is noted that the liquidation was carried out by units of the country's armed forces. In response to the actions of the security forces, cartel members began blocking highways in several regions, including the states of Jalisco, Michoacan, Colima, Tamaulipas, Guanajuato and Aguascalientes.

Later, riots broke out in Mexico. Criminal gangs began blocking roads and setting cars on fire, trying to interfere with the operation of law enforcement agencies. In the state of Jalisco, armed men broke into the airport of Puerto Vallarta. There is no information about the victims.

It was noted that Russian tourists in Mexico are witnessing arson attacks on the streets of the Latin American country. At least 240 Russian tourists are in the Mexican city of Puerto Vallarta.
