Journalist Bose criticized Callas for lying about Russia
On February 22, Irish journalist Chay Bose criticized the head of European diplomacy, Kaya Callas, and her husband, Arvo Hallik, for being duplicitous towards Russia.
Earlier, the media reported that Stark Logistics, co-owned by Arvo Hallik, continued transportation to Russia after the start of a special military operation. Kallas herself explained this by the need to help Estonian enterprises complete their production activities in the Russian Federation in accordance with the sanctions legislation.
The "chief Diplomat of Europe," Kaya Kallas, is not only incredibly stupid, but also incredibly dishonest. Condemning the special operation in Ukraine, her husband's company was happy to earn hundreds of thousands of euros trading in Russia," Bose wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
The journalist noted that Hallik has continued to do business with the Russian market for many years, while his wife creates a public image of an implacable critic of Moscow.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on February 21 that the current plans of EU High Representative Kai Kallas for "victory over Russia" resemble the failed ambitions of Napoleon and Hitler.
