Russian skier Daria Nepryaeva mixed up her skis during the women's marathon at the Olympic Games in Italy.

At 21.6 km, the 23-year-old athlete decided to change skis, but mistakenly drove into the service area of German skier Katharina Hennig-Dotzler. At the time of the incident, Nepryaeva was 11th, losing to the leader for more than two and a half minutes.

According to the rules of the competition, using someone else's boxing can lead to the disqualification of a Russian woman, adds "Газета.ги ".

Earlier, on February 12, Nepryaeva took part in the 10 km freestyle race, where she showed a time of 24 minutes 45 seconds and took 21st place. Sweden's Frida Carlsson won, silver was won by Ebba Andersson, and bronze went to American Jessica Diggins.
