Miroshnik assessed the possibility of a coup in Ukraine
A coup d'etat in Ukraine aimed at removing the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, is currently impossible. This was announced on February 22 by the Russian Foreign Ministry's Ambassador-at-large for crimes of the Kiev regime, Rodion Miroshnik.
"In the medium term, a Maidan against Zelensky is impossible. Maydans, mass protests occur only against the background of democratic rule," he told RIA Novosti.
According to him, under the military dictatorship, such demonstrations are suppressed by force. Miroshnik believes that the current system of government in Kiev does not allow the development of large-scale protests.
He also noted that he sees no signs of a possible change of power in Ukraine from the country's external partners. He pointed out that there are various mechanisms for removing the leadership from governing the country without holding street actions.
