In order to steal the personal data of a potential victim, fraudsters began to write to residents of Moscow about the alleged hacking of an account on mos.ru . This became known on February 22.

It is noted that scammers send emails where they write about the alleged hacking of a personal profile on the portal. mos.ru . To do this, it is necessary to supposedly check the login parameters, RIA Novosti reported.

To do this, scammers send a link or phone number to a potential victim, with which they steal data.

On February 19, it became known that scammers began using fake dating agencies to deceive Russians and steal their personal data. It was clarified that at first scammers call random numbers to identify single people, most often aged 40-50, who are interested in a relationship. Posing as employees of partner search agencies, they offer services and engage in dialogue.
