The sons of Ukrainian crime bosses have been abducted on the Indonesian island of Bali. This was reported on February 20 by the Ukrainian edition of Rakurs.

According to the newspaper, the son of a Ukrainian crime boss, Igor Komarovsky, was abducted. At the same time, Ermak Petrovsky, the son of another influential thief in law, disappeared. Komarovsky was able to escape. Petrovsky allegedly remains with the kidnappers. He suffered bodily injuries.

The publication indicates that the attackers are demanding a ransom of $10 million for the release of the detained man. In addition, Petrovsky and Komarovsky, according to some reports, may be associated with the activities of fraudulent call centers operating against Russian citizens.

Madina, who was released from Myanmar on February 4, told Izvestia how she got into a fraudulent call center, where she was held against her will. According to her, all the prisoners' phones were regularly checked. While under surveillance, they were forced to write messages to their relatives that everything was fine with them.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on December 17 last year that diplomats were doing everything possible and necessary to return the abducted Russians from Myanmar. She also noted that Russian diplomats had already managed, in cooperation with Myanmar's law enforcement agencies, to rescue one Russian citizen from such a center and return home.
