The administrator of the Baikal base spoke about the shock state of the Chinese survivor.

The Chinese tourist, the only one who got out of a sunken car on Lake Baikal, is still in a state of shock, but he is better now. Denis, the administrator of the Baikal Star recreation center, told Izvestia about this on February 21.

"I'm Chinese, I have a hotel here. My job is to make sure that nothing happens to him," the administrator said.

He also admitted that the Chinese tourist who got out is still in shock, but his condition has improved.

In addition, the route they were following was not, according to preliminary data, coordinated with representatives of travel agencies and rescuers.

As a result, Alexander Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation, demanded from Rinat Yamaliev, Acting head of the Investigative Department (SU) of the IC of Russia for the Irkutsk region, a report on the progress of the investigation into the death of tourists from China in the waters of Lake Baikal.
