The USA national ice hockey team defeated Slovakia at the Olympic Games of 2026 (OI-2026) and reached the final. The game ended on February 20 with a score of 6:2.

It is noted that striker Jack Hughes scored a double for the Americans, as well as forwards Dylan Larkin, Teige Thompson, Jack Aikel and Brady Tkachak.

Forwards Juraj Slafkowski and Pavol Regenda scored goals for the Slovaks.
