On February 20, the Russian Government, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, together with the Popular Front, handed over a new batch of equipment to Russian military personnel in the special military operation zone. The equipment was sent to the soldiers on Defender of the Fatherland Day.
"The total volume of equipment transferred today has exceeded 170 units. The basis of the batch consisted of 50 off–road vehicles of the UAZ brand," said Anton Alikhanov, Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia.
It is noted that among the sent off-road vehicles are UAZ "Loaf", "Pickup" and "Profi". The vehicles for the evacuation groups are equipped with mangalas, protective anti-splinter blankets, drone detectors, thermal evacuation envelopes and stretchers, and TeTe and Alyonka evacuation trolleys.
"REBs, barbecues, anti-splinter blankets are doing their job, they save a lot of lives. Many thanks to everyone who helps us. We are doing our job on the front line, and the rear is helping," the soldier with the call sign Tikhy thanked.
The equipment was handed over to the military by Alikhanov and Mikhail Kuznetsov, head of the Executive Committee of the Popular Front.
In addition to technical units, items necessary for military personnel in everyday life were sent to the combat zone: gas burners, chainsaws, additional sets of clothes.
On February 10, UAZ, together with the People's Front project, upgraded the Hunter evacuation SUV to perform tasks in its area. Improvements and changes have been made to the car, developed taking into account the wishes of the participants in the special military operation.
