Parfenyuk covered the song "You forgive me, Mom" for the tribute album "Lyube"
On February 20, Honored Artist of Russia, musician and composer Nikolai Parfenyuk recorded a cover version of the song "You forgive me, Mom" for the tribute album "Lyube 35. Everything is starting again" by the Lube Group.
"Guys! Continue to co-exist, create, and remind yourself...> Good health, new songs, good luck! Thank you!" the musician addressed the band.
The song was released on the third studio album "Lube Zone" in 1994. Poet Alexander Shaganov, who wrote the lyrics to Igor Matvienko's music, called the song deeply personal.
"We become adults when we lose our parents. And I wrote these words <...> in memory of my mother. I was a fairly young man in my 20s, and I was left, as they say, alone. And you could say it was my final poetry exam. Here, pay attention: I wrote with ready-made music, which requires certain skills. And there's a short line, perfect rhyme. I tried," the poet told Izvestia.
Shaganov also noted that the film "Kalina Krasnaya" by writer and director Vasily Shukshin gave him a certain impulse to write a poem. In addition, the poet highly appreciated the vocals of Nikolai Rastorguev in the original version. In addition, he called Parfenyuk's participation in the work on the tribute album a great success.
On January 30, rapper Alexander Stepanov, known under the pseudonym ST, presented his own version of the song "Little Sister" by the Lube group, which was included in the tribute album Lube 35. It's starting all over again." The artist explained that the choice of the song for the tribute was obvious, because it always seemed to him that its main idea was contained in the lines "you still believe in love." He made them the chorus, using a sample from the original version.
