Taxes have been added to more than 64 thousand unemployed citizens in Moscow.

In 2025, about 64 thousand residents were identified in Moscow, who formalized the sources of receiving funds. This was reported to Izvestia on February 20 by the press service of the Moscow department of the Federal Tax Service (FTS).

"The effect of last year's control measures on able—bodied so-called "unemployed" residents of Moscow has now amounted to almost 64,000 Muscovites, who have formalized the sources of their funds," the report says.
