Polish President Karol Nawrocki has signed a law abolishing the special status and benefits granted to Ukrainian refugees. This became known on February 19.

"On February 19, 2026, Polish President Karol Nawrocki signed the law of January 23, 2026 on repealing the provisions of the law on assistance to citizens of Ukraine in connection with the conflict on the territory of this state," wrote Navrocki's press secretary Rafal Leskevich on the social network X.
