A motorist was killed when a car collided with a power line pole in Stavropol

In the Kursk district of the Stavropol Territory, a young driver was killed as a result of a car collision with a power line pole. This is reported by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

The accident occurred on Thursday afternoon, February 19, on the 48th km of the Stoderevskoye–Sernovodsk–Uvarovskoye highway. It was previously established that the 25-year-old driver of the VAZ-2110 exceeded the speed limit, the car flew off the roadway and crashed into a concrete pillar.

As a result of the collision of the "dozens" with a power transmission pole, the driver suffered severe injuries, from which he died at the scene. The circumstances of the accident are being established. As stated by Stavropol.Media, it is known that the motorist has not been held accountable for traffic violations over the past two years.

Earlier in the day, Lada Priora and Lada Granta collided in the Magaramkentsky district of the Republic of Dagestan. According to preliminary information, five people were killed.
