Three people were killed and 10 others were injured in a truck explosion that occurred in the north of Santiago in Chile, where there is still a threat of repeated detonation. This was reported by the BiobioChile newspaper on February 19, citing law enforcement officials.

"The Carabinieri confirmed the death of three people after a truck explosion in the northern part of the capital (Santiago. In addition, at least 10 people were injured, and the risk of a new explosion remains," the article says.

The incident was recorded on the morning of the same day on one of the highways of the city. The exploded vehicle was carrying liquid gas. At the time of the accident, there were seven other cars on the road next to the ignited truck, which eventually burned down completely.

General of the Carabinieri Victor Vielma, speaking to the publication, said that the truck driver lost control and then allowed the exit ramp to roll over. According to him, at the moment it is impossible to establish the identity of the victims to specific vehicles.

Representatives of 25 fire brigades were involved in the localization of the fire, which has not yet been extinguished. The fire, as emphasized, managed to cover another truck, parking lots with wagons and the roofs of a nearby building.

The Denver Post reported on February 17 that four people died in an accident in Colorado, USA. It was noted that as a result of an accident affecting 30 cars caused by strong winds, 29 people were also injured.
