The number of vacancies in the internal affairs bodies of Russia has reached 212 thousand. This was announced on February 19 by Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev at a meeting of the State Duma Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption.
"The number of vacancies has reached 212 thousand. First of all, we are talking about key units that are in direct contact with the population. This is still the PPS (patrol and guard service. — Ed.), 40% shortage," he said.
