The Volga car brand has announced the launch dates for car sales

The first Volga cars will be available at authorized dealerships in the third quarter of 2026. This is stated in the message of the brand's press service, which was received by Izvestia on February 19. The line will include models in the D-SUV, C-SUV and D-sedan classes, which will be produced at the plant in Nizhny Novgorod, where previously Skoda and Volkswagen cars were produced.

The company said that the project, implemented by JSC "Production of Passenger Cars" (PLA), is ready for the official launch. It is aimed at "organizing the production of modern prestigious cars, the development of the Russian engineering school and the formation of a domestic component base," the company said in a statement.
