Those convicted of fraud in the Dolina case are asking for the verdict to be overturned

The defendants in the case, convicted of participating in a scam involving the apartment of People's Artist of the Russian Federation and singer Larisa Dolina, are asking the court of appeal to overturn the verdict and return the materials to the prosecutor for additional investigation. This was announced on February 19 by the lawyer of one of the convicts.

"We are asking the appeal to overturn the guilty verdict of the Balashikha court against our clients and send the materials of the criminal case to the prosecutor's office for further referral for additional investigation," the lawyer said in an interview with TASS.

It is noted that earlier the court's decision was appealed by convicts, lawyers and even the prosecutor's office. On February 19, it is planned to consider all appeals in this case.

According to the lawyer, not all information related to the decision of the Moscow region court was accepted, reviewed and correctly interpreted. For example, a bank card issued to dropper Dmitry Basov, according to his lawyer Asim Aliyev, was allegedly needed by him for work and was used on a crypto exchange.

Inconsistencies were also found in the case.
