"So far, there are no reasons for concern: no serious warming is expected in the near future," the forecaster said in an interview with Radio 1.

The meteorologist noted that the snow cover will increase significantly, but precipitation will be distributed unevenly across the region.

"Total — from 10 to 20 mm of precipitation. Due to the wind and sleet, visibility will deteriorate, and snowdrifts are possible on the highways," he concluded.
