Private Valery Komarov, as part of the unit, carried out the task of inflicting fire damage to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in conditions of artillery fire and drone attacks. The press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the exploits of Russian servicemen in the special military operation zone on February 19.

During the assault on the enemy's stronghold, Komarov was one of the first to enter the territory defended by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The private also eliminated the enemy machine-gun crew. As a result, the Russian attack aircraft managed to gain a foothold in new positions.

The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the courage of Sergeant Artem Degarev, whose unit was attacked by enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

One of Degarev's comrades-in-arms was wounded. The sergeant personally provided the injured serviceman with the necessary first aid and evacuated him to a safe place.
